Pray Participants and Volunteers from our School in Japan

A connection … the Play and Pray Participants and Volunteers from our School in Japan may have crossed paths in Thailand!  A number of the women at Quonnie had lived in the Refugee Camps in Thailand.  The Japanese volunteers offered their time serving in the camps where there were people from the Karen culture.  We will try to connect the two groups.  (Go to CND Web Site, to the interprovincial Icon and then the MARIA Province to the Winds of Asia document.)  The world becomes closer when the CND’s are involved!

Magnificat! On Saturday, August 16, in Yaoundé, we celebrated with Simo Fosto Estelle, Mblama Rosine and Daidouwe Jeannette as they made their first vows in the Congregation of Notre Dame. The ceremony was held under the theme "Vivre enracinées dans l'Amour du Seigneur" - Rooted in God's Love.
