Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy & Safe Communities

This year’s theme is Renewing Democracy through Social Justice: Adding New Voices. “Leadership has been an important topic of recent Atlantic Summer Institutes and regional workshops. The 2014 program will resonate with emerging and established leaders and those committed to social justice in our Atlantic communities and beyond.” Registration information:

Keynote Speaker will be Senator Art Eggleton, who will discuss how inequality is playing out in Canada, offering solutions to make Canada a more equitable society where everyone can prosper. This ASI 2014 Keynote Event is presented in partnership with PEI 2014. The event is free and open to the public, taking place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19 in the Canada Pavilion at the PEI 2014 Celebration Zone on the Charlottetown waterfront.
