CND - Sisters of the Visitation Province

The Lunchbox is an entertaining movie about a few characters involved in the lunchbox system of delivering lunches in Mumbai India. It provides, with humour, a look at the joys, sorrows, loves, choices and stages of life of the people involved as well as an experience of a slice of life in Mumbai.

Blended is a new movie this month that is funny – not a must-see, just a funny movie about families. Adam Sandler is a devoted Dad to three girls; Drew Barrymore is Mom to two hyper boys. The children are fresh (in more than one sense of the word!) and new faces. Very contemporary, with some good laugh lines in the fast-moving dialogue. Scenery (Africa) is pretty catchy too.

Dancing Standing Still is the latest book by Richard Rohr. It captures in ways that foster reflection how his own evolution has led him to experiencing how silent contemplation helps us cross our narrow divides including religious ones and lead to an inclusive, compassionate approach to life.
