How thrilled and impressed were the residents of Andrews of Charlottetown when “Santa’s Angels,” a group of female and male teenagers along with young adults, arrived on Christmas morning, entered our dining room and entertained us with carols from 7:30 to 8:00 AM, while the residents enjoyed their breakfast. When the carolling ended, these young people went to each table and treated the seniors to chocolate-coated cookies and brightened their day by presenting them with a stuffed animal. It is usually the crimes of young people that make the headlines while the youth who are generous, kind and dedicated go unnoticed. Congratulations to “Santa’s Angels” and a sincere thank you for making the day for seniors such a memorable one!
