Welcome to CND/USA Office of Mission Advancement page!
We, the CND Sisters in the USA, have a long history in the US beginning in Illinois in 1860. Our main mission is liberating education and it has taken many forms. We teach on every level of education and administer schools; we run centers for rehabilitation in Virginia and outreach to migrants in North Carolina; our “retired” Sisters work in parishes and nursing homes attending to the needs of those who have no one to visit them; we work in Archdiocesan offices; we advocate for ecology; we minister in several parishes and hospitals bringing “Good News”; we are present to those in prison, teaching skills for future employment; we are social workers; we work for justice and we pray constantly with Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys that “God will be greatly loved and oh so faithfully served.” Working with us are our CND Associates numbering 100 in the US. These women and men serve with us in bringing the Incarnate Word to many.
For all these ministries, your partnership with us enables us to realize all the ways Christ is needed in our world today. As this webpage develops, you will be able to read our newsletter, respond to our appeals and use our Honor/ Memorial cards, all of which you can view on our links.
Thank you for your interest and generosity to the CND.
