VOCATION NEWS - Blessed Sacrament Province

This ad is the fruit of the Norwalk CND’s Vocation Meeting. We hope to publish it in the April edition of the Fairfield Catholic. Sisters Peggy and Mary Ann would be happy to pass some copies along to post or pass along to women in these age groups... or maybe your pastor would print it in the bulletin to commemorate the Year of Consecrated Life.

Sydney Mines Group Meet with Journeying Associate

Gerald Odo, Frances Gordon, journeying associate Mary Hall and Geraldine Walker

The weather was very cold on Wednesday Feb. 12th when Sydney Mines associates Frances Gordon and Geraldine Walker met at the home of sister Ada Gordon, CND, to begin a deeper formation for journeying associate Mary Hall with Gerald and Winnie Odo; however, the spirit was warm and very much present as was our dear Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys. Mary’s journey began quite some time ago and she is now ready to formalize her journey by exploring the richness of the Formation Manual. She was very touched and felt honoured to be taking this new step and is looking forward to meeting again soon to explore more. We are hoping that sister Theresa Sampson, CND, will join us next time to add meaning to our Mission and Vision Statement to live mutually with sisters and associates. We were all very grateful to sister Ada for allowing us to meet centrally at her place.
