Peace & Justice News - Blessed Sacrament Province

Dear Sisters and Associates, I strongly encourage our Province’s continued participation in the Congregation of Notre Dame effort to address Climate Change. We got off to a great start in September at the Climate March. Many also participated in the Our Voices campaign and in the Global Chorus. Later, in several locations including Wilton we actively participated in the Light for Lima Prayer Vigil.

2015 Guided Retreats at Bethany Centre, Antigonish, NS

This notice comes to let you know of the upcoming retreats in which there is still space available. The deadline for registering before notice of cancellation is February 21, 2015. It will be necessary to cancel the July retreat if we do not get more registrations.

Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, a time to remember that God made us part of this great universe, interconnected on an elemental level. The Elements found in stardust are found in the planets and in us humans (93% of the mass of our body is stardust. Source:www.physicscentral.com) this interconnectedness highlights our responsibility to each other and our planet.
