Sr. Libby Osgood’s First Profession of Vows in the Congrégation de Notre-Dame

Sr. Libby Osgood’s First Profession of Vows in the Congrégation de Notre-Dame will take place Sunday, July 28, 2019, 2:00 pm, at the UPEI Chaplaincy Centre

The University of Prince Edward Island chapel is a fitting setting for this ceremony, as it literally grounds Libby's commitment to religious life and CND within the place where she will be living her commitment to liberating education. Local sisters, family and friends will gather in this intimate setting (60 person capacity) to witness this important event and to prayerfully support Libby's deepening commitment.

2019 Province Assembly Prayer

Loving God, never ending source of love, compassion and mercy, guide us on our journey toward deeper union with You and all of creation. You, gracious one, are the light that flows through all that is. May we become more deeply aware that real transformation occurs when we are open to You and to one another. Fill our hearts with a passion for life that radiates Your healing light of love to all we encounter.

Help us to truly celebrate the giftedness of our rich diversity as blessing. Fill us with a timeless wisdom so that, rooted in Jesus Christ, we may embrace the prophetic call to be disciples of light and hope in these times of constant change and uncertainty.

We ask this in Your name, most loving Creator.

Associate Relationship

Discernment Weekend

A discernment weekend for potential co-coordinators for Visitation East and Visitation West / North took place on April 26-28, 2019 at the Motherhouse. Sister Eileen Power facilitated the process. We are happy to share that Theresa MacNeil from Sydney will be the new co-coordinator for Visitation East. The co-coordinator for Visitation West/North is pending. Heartfelt thanks to Sister Eileen and the participants for their generosity and commitment to Associate Relationship!

Marguerite Bourgeoys Bursaries

In early May, members of the Marguerite Bourgeoys Bursary Committee met in Summerside to review 198 applications that had been received.

Our bursary program would not be successful without the many CND’s who assist with the distribution of the applications. Their efforts enable us to stay connected and to have an impact on education. Our bursary funds do make a difference!
