CND

Prayers for Candidates:

Currently, seventeen Candidates from North Carolina, Staten Island, Sr. Mary Mac Isaac's parish in Chicago, and Sr. Bea Baker's parish in Joliet, IL have completed the formation process and are applying to become Associates this month. Please remember them in prayer as they complete their applications and continue their journey toward First Commitment as Associates.

PAC (Provincial Associate Committee):

On November 16 and 17, members of the Provincial Associate Committee will meet in Wilton to discuss various topics and review the applications submitted by Candidates for Associate Relationship. Before attending the meeting, members have been asked to read an article by Amy Hereford CSJ, “Associates of Religious Institutes – A Way Forward”. This article was used and discussed this summer at the Central Committee Meeting for Associates in Montreal. PAC members will also see a power point presentation on this topic and discuss its implications for us. This conversation begins our planning for the future of our Province Associate Relationship. If you have any ideas or agenda items that you would like the members of PAC to consider, please contact Sr. Joan or Donna Wuhrer.

Conference Call Community for “A Year in the Life of an Associate” Topics:

Associates who are not able to be in a local Associate Community were invited to consider an email or conference call format for discussing the 2013-2014 topics. Five Associates indicated interest and two of them do not have email. This conference call group will start in mid-January on either Tuesday or Wednesday in the early evening.

If any Associate would like to join this group, please contact Sr. Joan at cndassociatesusa@msn.com or Donna Wuhrer at dmrwuhrer@gmail.com.
