Repair My House: Becoming a Kindom Catholic
by Michael H. Crosby, OFMcap (Orbis Books, Maryknoll, NY 2012. 250 pages: $22.00)

This book presents some of Father Michael's talks and written presentations. He draws upon a wide variety of current sources and resources: social sciences, classic and current theology, new cosmology and advances in science that support new ways of being "kindom" Catholics, that is, followers of Christ's compassionate "kindom" way. The book has three sections: the first one outlines the need for "newness," the second brings in the teaching of Jesus, and the third part explores seven "sacramentals" for living the "kindom" and "repairing" the Church. A section I found particularly helpful is the sketch of Culture I and Culture II Catholics, "two poles on the continuum of how Catholics view Church." (Chapter 3)
