Good News From The CND Sisters: A new and delightful biography of their founder is now available, The Seed that Became a Garden: The Story of Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys by Louise Finn, CND, and illustrated by Francis Back. Geared to young adults and older, it tells how Marguerite left her home in France as a young lay woman to travel to 17th-century Canada. Her amazing adventures will expand your vision of her world—and of our own. Available at Amazon as a paperback and a Kindle, and at B&N as a Nook, the book can also be purchased at ST. PAULS Bookstore, Staten Island, NY (1-800-343-2522). Thank you.

The SSNDS Have Invited any Congregation of Notre Dame sister who wishes to attend the annual retreat here in Wilton in June. The presenter is Fr. Tom Fitzpatrick; and the dates are from June 26th to July 2nd. If you wish to attend, contact Sr. Anna Marie Zeitner, SSND at 203 762 -3318.

Year Of Mercy Action: The Bridgeport Diocese Council of Religious is proposing for Religious, Associates, family and friends to participate in a doable project "to shelter the homeless". We would join Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County in the Pope Francis Building at 51 George St in Bridgeport. This house will be for active parishioners of the Cathedral Parish. The date for working would be either Saturday, April 30th or May 21st - whichever most workers choose. Each on site worker is asked to contribute $50 to the build. If you would like to participate: 1. as worker – with your name and date of choice – April 30th or May 21st; or 2. as a non-worker but sponsor of worker or a contributor (any amount) to support the project. April 30th is the anniversary of St. Marguerite's opening the Stable School. This might be a great way for sisters and sssociates to celebrate our beginnings! Thank you. Sr. Marilyn Hammill
